AC Ace Bristol
Equipped with a Ford 2.3-liter inline 4-cylinder turbo engine

The car is fitted with a special chassis developed by AC Cars Classics, and is equipped with a Ford 2.3-liter inline four-cylinder EcoBoost gasoline turbo.
AC Cars has launched a heritage division called “AC Cars Classics” to revive AC’s historic models, and has announced the revival of the classic AC Ace as its first model. Pursuing lightweight design and racing speed, the AC Ace was a British-made roadster with an elegant exterior that was highly acclaimed around the world from the 1950s to the 1960s.
AC Cars Classics has developed two models, the AC Ace and the AC Ace Bristol, that faithfully retain the original styling while incorporating modern mechanics. The two models reflect the evolution of the original AC Ace over its 10-year production run from 1953 to 1963.
It is equipped with a Ford 2.3-liter inline 4-cylinder “EcoBoost” gasoline turbo engine that produces a maximum output of 304 PS and a maximum torque of 375 Nm, and drives the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. The vehicle weight is kept to 1,100 kg, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in an instantaneous 4.6 seconds. It is combined with a specially tuned exhaust system that produces the best sound in all driving ranges.
Modern driving performance with cutting-edge technology

The AC Ace and AC Ace Bristol have the classic styling of the 1950s and 1960s, but are equipped with modern powertrains, allowing for modern driving enjoyment. The photo shows the original AC Ace (left) and the AC Cobra Mark II developed by AC Cars.
“The AC Ace and AC Ace Bristol are built using cutting-edge manufacturing techniques to deliver exceptional ride comfort and handling that is relevant today. The custom-designed chassis, carbon fiber bodywork, and modern powertrain seamlessly blend with the original styling to deliver a one-of-a-kind driving experience. AC Cars CEO David Konza is excited about the return of the AC Ace,” he said.
“The new AC Ace and AC Ace Bristol prove that a classic sports car can also offer outstanding modern performance and handling. The development theme was ‘light and powerful’, and AC Cars Classics applied the highest level of technology to create these roadsters. The result is a roadster that combines elegance with modern performance.”
AC Cars Classics is the heritage division of AC Cars, established to revive some of the most memorable models ever produced by AC. All vehicles are built at AC Cars’ advanced factory on the south coast of England, retaining timeless styling while meeting modern emissions and road regulations.
Pre-orders are now open for the AC Ace and AC Ace Bristol, with prices starting from £175,000 (approximately ¥35 million). Each vehicle will have its own special plate bearing its chassis number, with deliveries scheduled for summer 2025.
