Porsche 911 GT3 with Weissach Package
Two types of “GT3” models debut simultaneously

The new 911 GT3 debuted simultaneously in two versions: the more modest 911 GT3 Touring Package (left) and the track-focused 911 GT3 (right) with a rear wing.
Since its debut in 1999, the 911 GT3 has offered customers a high level of balance between racing DNA and everyday usability. To commemorate its 25th anniversary, the new 911 GT3 has debuted simultaneously for the first time in two versions: the circuit-focused 911 GT3 with a rear wing and the more modest 911 GT3 Touring Package.
Based on the new 992.2 model, the 911 GT3 features sharper design at the front and rear, as well as updated aerodynamics. Both versions feature a re-contoured front diffuser and a revised spoiler lip. Improved underbody fins increase downforce and optimise airflow across the vehicle.
The redesigned LED matrix headlights (optional white accent rings) feature all the lighting functions introduced in the 911, eliminating the need for additional lights in the front apron. This allows for larger air inlet areas, resulting in a clearer exterior structure. The rear section features redesigned diffusers, air inlets and rear lids. The rear wing now features new, angled side plates.
The double-wishbone front axle features specially developed teardrop-shaped trailing arms for superior aerodynamics. These increase downforce at the wheel arches at high speeds and improve brake cooling. Suspension engineers also reduced pitching (anti-dive) during high-speed braking to maintain a balanced downforce between the front and rear axles.
The 911 GT3 comes standard with sports tires measuring 255/35 ZR 20 at the front and 315/30 ZR 21 at the rear, which offer improved wet grip. Road-legal track tires are also available as an option. Brand ambassador Jörg Bergmeister commented on the improved performance of the new 911 GT3:
“The new 911 GT3 now has significantly improved stability and handling over bumps and curbs thanks to optimised damper tuning. This means even better control on the race track. The anti-dive system has significantly reduced pitching under braking, making the car significantly more balanced in all situations.”
Equipped with a 4.0-liter boxer 6 engine inherited from the 911 GT3 RS

The 4.0-liter horizontally opposed 6-cylinder naturally aspirated gasoline engine incorporates technology derived from the 911 GT3 RS, which thoroughly improved driving performance on the circuit. Thorough weight reduction has achieved a significant improvement in driving performance.
The new 911 GT3 is equipped with a 4.0-liter, naturally aspirated, six-cylinder flat-six engine that produces a maximum output of 510 PS. To meet stringent exhaust gas regulations, the engine is equipped with two particulate filters and four catalytic converters. Despite being equipped with this extremely powerful emission control system, the engine still retains its captivating sound.
The engine itself has an improved cylinder head, and the sharp camshafts inherited from the 911 GT3 RS deliver even more dynamic performance at high revs. Flow-optimized throttle valves and an optimized oil cooler have also been adopted.
The final drive ratio of the 7-speed PDK and 6-speed MT (GT manual transmission) is 8% shorter than that of the previous model. Both transmissions are available for both the 911 GT3 and the 911 GT3 Touring Package. The PDK-equipped model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 311 km/h (3.9 seconds, 313 km/h for the 6-speed MT model).
The light weight of the car contributes to the agile and direct handling. With a thorough focus on lightweight design, the newly developed lightweight aluminum wheels in silver color reduce unsprung weight by more than 1.5 kg compared to the previous model. Magnesium wheels are also available as an option for the “Weissach Package” and “Lightweight Package,” achieving a weight reduction of 9 kg.
The newly introduced 40Ah lithium-ion lightweight battery is approximately 4 kg lighter. If you choose the lightest specification, the new 911 GT3 weighs just 1,420 kg. Walter Röhrl, Porsche brand ambassador, had the following to say about his impressions of driving the new 911 GT3:
“Especially on winding roads, the steering feels even more expertly calibrated than the previous model. It responds more gently from the centre position without losing any directness, which gives you a greater sense of confidence in the vehicle. The shorter gear ratio also makes the car much more enjoyable to drive.”
Innovative lightweight sports bucket seats

A newly developed “lightweight sports bucket seat” is available as an option, featuring a foldable backrest that is convenient when wearing a helmet and a seat shell made from CFRP.
The new 911 GT3 is available with the newly developed “lightweight sports bucket seats” as an option, featuring a retractable backrest and a CFRP seat shell. The seats are equipped with built-in thoracic airbags, and are electrically adjustable in height and manually adjustable fore-aft. Three-stage seat heaters are also available as an option.
As many drivers wear helmets when driving on the circuit, the headrest pads are now partially removable. The backrests can be folded down using loops, allowing easy access to the rear seat system, which is being introduced for the first time in the 911 GT3 Touring Package. In addition, instead of the sports bucket seats, customers can also choose the Adaptive Sports Seats Plus (with 18-way electric adjustment).
The cockpit is based on the design of the current 911, and instead of a button starter like the Carrera models, a rotary ignition switch is used, and an optional rollover bar significantly improves rigidity levels for circuit driving.
The digital instrument cluster features a clearly structured display and control concept. Contrasting colours ensure the rev counter and stopwatch are easy to read, even during aggressive driving. In Track Screen mode, the digital displays to the left and right of the rev counter are reduced to show key data on tyres, oil, water and fuel, while a shift flash helps drivers optimise shift times.
“Touring Package” designed for everyday use

The 911 GT3 Touring Package debuted at the same time, eliminating the fixed rear wing and achieving the elegant styling characteristic of the 911. For the first time, a rear seat system was available as an option, improving everyday usability.
In line with this update, Porsche has more clearly differentiated the various versions of the 911 GT3. The popular “Touring Package” makes its debut alongside the standard GT3, which is fitted with a rear wing for the first time. The Touring Package’s origins date back to the 1973 911 Carrera RS 2.7 and have been available on the 911 GT3 since 2017.
The new 911 GT3 Touring Package features the model name “911 GT3 touring” on the rear lid grille. The fixed rear wing has been eliminated, maintaining the timelessly elegant lines of the 911. However, a high level of aerodynamic balance is maintained thanks to the extendable rear spoiler with tear-off edges, Gurney flaps, and underbody fin design.
The interior is made up of high-quality leather, creating a classic and sporty atmosphere. For the first time in the GT3 series, the 911 GT3 Touring Package is available with an optional rear seat system. This further improves everyday usability.
A sports car on your wrist: a dedicated chronograph

Owners of the 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 Touring can purchase a special chronograph developed by Porsche Design for the car.
Owners of the 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 Touring can purchase a Porsche Design chronograph, a “sports car on the wrist” that reflects the design and performance of the sports car.
The 911 GT3 Chronograph and 911 GT3 Touring Chronograph are equipped with the COSC-certified Porsche Design movement WERK 01.200 with flyback function. The ultra-lightweight titanium case (optionally available with a black titanium carbide coating) perfectly combines the design of the 911 GT3 with modern watchmaking technology.
The GT3-design dial, with its yellow accents and hexagonal structure, is inspired by the vehicle’s instrument cluster. The winding rotor is based on the rim design of the 911 GT3. The dial ring can be chosen from all exterior colors available for the 911 GT3. The strap, made from original Porsche interior leather and thread, is also color-matched to each vehicle.
