The front section features a frameless grille with the new-generation brand logo, the “Lion Emblem,” while the taillights feature a three-line horizontal design.

The Peugeot 208, which debuted in 2012, has become a flagship model for Peugeot thanks to its compact body size that fits in well with Japanese city streets, as well as its unique design and comprehensive advanced driving assistance systems. The improved new 208, which has now been introduced in Japan, features a new generation brand logo and emblem, as well as a newly designed front face.

The front section features a frameless grille with the new-generation brand logo, the “lion emblem,” in the center. The intricate grid design, in the same color as the body, creates a dynamic impression. The three-line daytime running lights on both sides of the front, modeled after Peugeot’s trademark lion claws, highlight the brand’s identity.

The taillights feature a three-line horizontal design, giving the rear section a wider appearance. A new, wider “PEUGEOT” lettering logo has also been introduced in the center of the rear garnish. Both the 208 GT and 208 ALLURE are fitted with newly designed alloy wheels.

A new body color, “Agueda Yellow” (pictured), has been added. Together with “Vertigo Blue” and “Bianca White”, three colors will be introduced in Japan.

The design, which is meticulous in terms of texture and detail, offers a higher level of everyday comfort. The dashboard, which is decorated with carbon-like texture and stitching, is designed to create a sense of envelopment, connecting in a single motion to the door trim. The 208 GT is equipped with ambient lighting that can be selected from eight colors.

The 208 GT is equipped with dynamic seats made of fabric and TEP leather. Vivid color stitching adds a stylish touch. The 208 ALLURE is equipped with comfort seats made of fabric and TEP leather, creating a casual yet comfortable space.

Peugeot’s proprietary 3D i-Cockpit advanced driving system features a large 10-inch touchscreen at the top of the dashboard. The park assist camera’s resolution has been improved, and the front USB port has been changed to Type-C. The 208 GT also comes equipped with a 5W wireless smartphone charger.
