Further updates to some improved models

The seventh 3 Series debuted in 2019, with an improved model released in 2022. This time, some improvements have been made, mainly to the equipment, and sales have begun in Japan.
The BMW 3 Series, synonymous with sports sedans in the premium compact segment, is BMW’s best-selling model, combining sporty design with excellent driving performance. It evolved into its seventh generation in 2019, with an updated seventh-generation model being released in 2022. The model being introduced in Japan this time is a partially improved version of the updated seventh-generation 3 Series. The 3 Series Touring, a station wagon based on the 3 Series Sedan and featuring ample luggage space, evolved into its sixth generation in 2019, with an updated sixth-generation 3 Series Touring being released in 2022. Like the sedan, it has undergone some improvements based on the partially improved sixth-generation model.
The lineup of the newly introduced partially improved model also includes the M Performance models “M340i xDrive” and “M340i xDrive Touring” developed by BMW M. The “M Sport Package Pro” including the newly red-painted “M Sport Brakes,” blacked-out kidney grille, light shadow line, M seat belts, etc. will be standard equipment. The “i (injection)” at the end of the grade name, which has been omitted since the “1 Series,” is still alive and well in this 3 Series.
The 330e, which is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system, comes standard with a sound package including a Harman & Kardon sound system, a TV tuner, and acoustic glass, as well as high-quality Vernesca leather seats. The car’s product appeal has been significantly enhanced, with a driving range of 85 to 101 km in EV mode.
Enhanced safety features and driving assistance systems

As before, the car will be equipped with the latest generation of safety features and driving assistance systems, including a “traffic jam driving assistance function with hands-off function.”
As before, the new 3 Series Sedan and 3 Series Touring are equipped with the latest generation of safety features and driver assistance systems. Equipped with a cutting-edge driver assistance system with high analytical capabilities thanks to high-performance cameras and radar, as well as a high-performance processor, the “Traffic Jam Driving Assistance Function with Hands-Off Function” has been introduced, which reduces the driver’s burden and contributes to safety during traffic jams on the highway.
In addition to the most advanced driver assistance system, the car is also equipped with the latest generation of connectivity. By saying “OK, BMW,” you can operate the vehicle, set destinations, and more. Convenience has also been greatly enhanced with support for Apple CarPlay and the ability to send destinations searched in advance on a smartphone to the vehicle.
The BMW Digital Key is standard equipment, and even if you don’t have the vehicle key, you can unlock and lock the vehicle by holding a compatible smartphone over the door handle. Furthermore, you can also start the engine by placing the smartphone used to unlock the vehicle in a designated location and pressing the start button.
