The new generation of MINI John Cooper Works will be available in two fully electric powertrain models and three ICE-powered models.

Each of the five current MINI John Cooper Works vehicles embodies pure driving pleasure and a unique user experience in its most powerful form. The MINI John Cooper Works Electric and MINI John Cooper Works Aceman mark the first time that fully electric models have been added to the JCW lineup. The two EVs are equipped with the latest fully electric powertrains, delivering a maximum output of 261 PS (190 kW) and a maximum torque of 350 Nm.

The MINI John Cooper Works and MINI John Cooper Works Convertible are equipped with a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder MINI TwinPower Turbo engine that produces a maximum output of 231 PS (170 kW) and a maximum torque of 380 Nm. The MINI John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4 is equipped with a more powerful 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder turbo engine and, via an intelligent four-wheel drive system, demonstrates its true potential both on and off-road.

The new generation MINI series’ only EV-only model, the Aceman, is also available as a John Cooper Works Aceman (pictured). It is equipped with the latest electric powertrain, boasting a maximum output of 190 kW, just like the three-door model.

The MINI John Cooper Works Electric and MINI John Cooper Works Aceman have been developed as a new dimension in electric high-performance models. The fully electric powertrain boasts a maximum output of 190 kW, and the electric boost function provides an extra 20 kW of power. MINI is proud to say that its neutral acceleration is something that can never be experienced with ICE models.

The JCW-specific chassis suspension is tuned to give MINI the go-kart feel it’s known for, and its agile handling makes it appealing not only on the circuit, but also on winding roads and in urban areas.

Exclusive interior and exterior details underscore MINI’s emotional connection to motorsport, including the exclusive John Cooper Works logo in red, white and black, reminiscent of a checkered flag, and the exclusive multi-tone roof with a red to black gradient, highlighting this special car.

Side skirts, special aero blades on the C-pillars and a rear spoiler optimise aerodynamics, especially at high speeds, and improve range: the three-door MINI John Cooper Works Electric has a range of 371km, while the five-door MINI John Cooper Works Aceman has a range of 355km.

The 2.0-liter models are the three-door MINI John Cooper Works and the MINI John Cooper Works Convertible (pictured), which is a significant update to the previous model. Both are equipped with a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder MINI TwinPower Turbo and a 7-speed DCT.

The MINI John Cooper Works and MINI John Cooper Works Convertible are equipped with a powerful 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder MINI TwinPower Turbo engine that produces a maximum output of 231 PS and a maximum torque of 380 Nm. Engine power is transmitted directly to the road via a sporty tuned 7-speed DCT.

Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.1 seconds for the MINI John Cooper Works and 6.4 seconds for the MINI John Cooper Works Convertible, with top speeds of 250 km/h and 245 km/h, respectively. The convertible’s soft top can be fully retracted in just 18 seconds, even while driving, at speeds up to 30 km/h.

To efficiently cool the engine, the front section features a high-gloss black octagonal front grille with large air vents and the “JCW” logo. Red inserts have been added to the side air inlets in the front apron, emphasizing its performance status. The tailpipes are positioned in the center of the rear diffuser, giving the car a racing-car-like appearance.

The most powerful Countryman in the series

The new generation MINI Countryman, the pinnacle of the MINI lineup, also comes in a JCW variant. It combines one of the series’ highest power outputs, a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder MINI TwinPower Turbo engine that produces 300 PS, with a four-wheel drive system.

The MINI John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4 is the only all-wheel drive (AWD) model in the JCW series, and reigns supreme at the top of the lineup with its imposing style, power and off-road capability.

The 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder MINI TwinPower Turbo engine has been improved from the previous model, with changes to the pistons, connecting rods, and engine mounts. Equipped with a dual-drive exhaust turbocharger developed by BMW, it achieves a maximum output of 300 PS (221 kW) and a maximum torque of 400 Nm. Despite being a large crossover, it boasts instantaneous speed, with 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5.4 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.

The exterior features an upright, minimalist silhouette, with a touch of JCW-esque motorsports. The roof gently curves towards the rear, achieving a segment-leading Cd value of 0.26 despite the square body shape. The front section features a special octagonal grille in high-gloss black, LED headlights with “JCW” signature mode, and aerodynamic elements with vertical reflectors. The rear section also features taillights with “JCW” signature mode, just like the front.

It also features advanced driver assistance systems, making it the only vehicle in the JCW lineup to achieve Level 2 partially automated driving on highways.
