Audi has opened a brand-icon showroom, “Audi City Ginza,” in Tokyo’s Ginza district. Opening in one of Japan’s top commercial centers, this store will be a flagship location where customers can experience Audi’s cutting-edge products, raising awareness among users and improving the brand’s image.

The exterior and interior are unique to “Audi City Ginza,” with the exterior incorporating a modular black design frame based on Audi’s headlight shape, and the interior incorporating Audi’s latest CI, which was updated for the first time in 14 years, while creating a calming atmosphere that makes use of Japanese tastes. This is also an attempt exclusive to “Audi City Ginza.”

The space is 308 square meters, and it’s hard to believe it’s in the heart of Ginza. Only three cars are on display, and the venue purposely doesn’t pack in too many cars, allowing guests to experience the world of Audi in a relaxed atmosphere.

There is also a video space with 12 transparent organic EL panels.

The space is designed with a Japanese feel in mind, with areas filled with pebbles reminiscent of a Japanese garden and features a warm wooden interior, creating an atmosphere befitting the international city of Ginza, and it has a cozy atmosphere that makes you forget you’re in a car showroom. Also noteworthy is the video space, which uses 12 55-inch transparent organic EL panels, a first for a car showroom.

The RS 6 Avant GT, limited to 660 units worldwide and only 10 units in Japan, will be on display until December 21st, so be sure to stop by if you’re in Ginza.
