Audi A7 Family
Allroad Quattro lineup also available for “A6” renamed “A7”

It seems certain that the next-generation Allroad Quattoro will also be available.
Audi has a large lineup of SUVs, but it seems to be planning to continue with this class of crossovers. The prototype, with its bulging wheel arches disguised, is likely the next-generation A7 Allroad Quattro. It looks like Audi will continue to compete head-on with the Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain in the next generation.
Confirm the design inherited from the A6 Allroad Quattro

The Allroad Quattro-like design can be seen at the joints between the lower wheel arches and the front bumper.
Looking closely, the contours of the bulging lower front wheel arches appear to be seamlessly joined to the edge of the bumper. This is a design characteristic of the A6 Allroad Quattro, and the joints with the side skirts seen directly below the front doors also appear to share this shape. The fact that the body’s ground clearance is higher than other A7 Avant prototypes also suggests that this test vehicle is an Allroad Quattro.
The platform is PPC dedicated to ICE

Like the A5, the next-generation A7 will be based on the Premium Platform Combustion (PPC), an improved MLB platform. The internal combustion engine (ICE) will likely be paired with a mild hybrid system or a plug-in hybrid package with a larger battery, achieving an all-electric range of around 100km.
The new A7 will be equipped with the engine next year

The RS 7 is expected to be released around mid-2026, about a year later than the standard model.
Like the A5, the A6 successor (i.e., the next A7) will likely prioritize the use of four-cylinder engines. Therefore, the continuation of the V8 RS 6 in its current form as the RS 7 is questionable. The high-performance S and RS models could very well be powered by a six-cylinder engine combined with a PHEV solution.
The next-generation A7 is expected to arrive around mid-2025 with a 48V mild hybrid system, all-wheel drive quattro, and two gasoline and diesel engines. The allroad quattro will be released a little later, in mid-2026.
