Boxer 6 with 30 PS of power increase

The Porsche 911 S, positioned between the 911 Carrera and 911 Carrera GTS, has been added to the lineup.

The 3.0-liter horizontally opposed 6-cylinder twin-turbo engine uses a new turbocharger and delivers a maximum output of 480 PS, 30 PS more powerful than the previous model.

Porsche has added the 911 Carrera S to its lineup, filling the gap between the 911 Carrera and the high-performance 911 Carrera GTS T-Hybrid. The powertrain has been significantly updated, surpassing the performance of the previous 911 Carrera GTS. Available as a coupe or cabriolet, the new model offers enhanced standard equipment and a wide range of customization options compared to the entry-level 911 Carrera.

The 3.0-liter flat-six twin-turbo engine has been fundamentally improved to match the new 911 Carrera S. It now produces 353 kW (480 PS) and 530 Nm of torque, a 22 kW (30 PS) increase over its predecessor. To improve performance and efficiency, Porsche has introduced a new turbocharger.

The 911 Carrera S Coupe drives the rear wheels via an eight-speed Porsche Dual Clutch Transmission (PDK), achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 308 km/h.

Extensive standard equipment and a wide range of options

The Porsche 911 S, positioned between the 911 Carrera and 911 Carrera GTS, has been added to the lineup.

The new 911 Carrera S comes standard with exclusive 20/21-inch Carrera S wheels and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+). Options are also available to enhance driving performance, such as an advanced braking system.

This time, Porsche has significantly upgraded the standard equipment of the Carrera S. It now comes standard with 20/21-inch Carrera S wheels with different diameter tires, a sports exhaust system with silver tailpipes, and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+), which is not available on the 911 Carrera.

The newly developed brake system, which was first introduced on the 911 Carrera GTS, brings about a significant improvement in driving dynamics. Red-painted brake calipers and 408 mm front and 380 mm rear brake discs are fitted as standard, providing outstanding braking performance even on the race track.

Performance-conscious customers can also choose the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system and the PASM sports suspension, which lowers the car by 10mm and combines rear-wheel steering with revised dampers to improve responsiveness and drivability over the previous model.

Interior with leather package

The interior comes standard with a black leather package, which includes leather on the seats, headrests, dashboard, and door panels.

As with other Carrera models, a folding rear seat is available at no extra cost as an alternative to the standard two-seater layout. The Cabriolet comes standard with a rear seat system.

An even more extensive leather option is available for the interior, covering a wide range of areas including the glovebox lid, side panels and seat bases, and adding crayon-coloured contrast stitching.

The 911 Carrera S can be upgraded with various features, including HD Matrix LED headlights and a wireless smartphone charger. The options list also includes a front axle lift system and the Sport Chrono Package, which includes the Porsche Track Precision app optimized for circuit driving.

The new Porsche 911 is equipped with a motor, but it doesn't just add a motor; it also incorporates a new technology called an electric turbo.
