The announcement revealed that UniCredit will support Ferrari’s Formula 1 team, Scuderia Ferrari HP.

At a press conference held at UniCredit’s headquarters in Milan, Italy on January 16, 2025, UniCredit Group CEO Andrea Orsel and Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna took to the stage to reveal details of the multi-year premium partnership first announced in September 2024.

UniCredit will support Scuderia Ferrari HP, which competes in F1, and will provide innovative services for F1 fans and UniCredit customers. In addition, to commemorate the partnership, UniCredit and Scuderia Ferrari HP are planning a special event in March 2025 in Milan, UniCredit’s home base.

UniCredit’s support for the F1 team began when seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton joined Scuderia Ferrari HP, teaming up with Charles Leclerc. The company’s support will see the development of a unique initiative to connect the team with fans around the world, including exclusive events for F1 fans, storytelling services and initiatives showcasing the synergy between the two iconic Italian brands.

Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna commented at the joint press conference:

Together, we celebrate our traditions and continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of racing and finance. Andrea Orsel, CEO of UniCredit, explained the collaboration with Scuderia Ferrari HP:

“We are incredibly proud to embark on this groundbreaking partnership with Ferrari, a brand that respects its proud tradition while looking to a global future. Our multi-year partnership with Ferrari will mark a new collaboration that bridges the worlds of finance and racing.”

Cadillac, which will enter F1 as the 11th team from the 2026 season, has signed a power unit and gearbox supply agreement with Ferrari.

Ferrari has signed a contract to supply power units and gearboxes to the Cadillac F1 Team, which will compete in F1 from the 2026 season. On November 25, 2024, General Motors and TWG Global announced that the team would compete in F1 Grand Prix from 2026, and that they would soon reveal the power units that would be installed.
