Cadillac takes on the Daytona 24 Hours with three cars

Cadillac Racing will compete in the 2025 IMSA season with three cars. The three Cadillac V-Series Rs took part in the final preseason test, held from January 17th to 19th, prior to the opening race, the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. They debuted their new livery in front of fans.

In the opening race, Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing will field the No. 10 car with Felipe Albuquerque, Brendon Hartley, Will Stevens and Ricky Taylor, and the No. 40 car with Louis Deletraz, Kamui Kobayashi, Alex Lynn and Jordan Taylor driving a V Series.R.

The #31 Cadillac Whelen, run by Action Express Racing, will compete in the opening race with a lineup of Jack Aitken, Earl Bamber, Felipe Drugovich and Frederic Vesti.

Meanwhile, as previously reported, Cadillac Racing will partner with UK-based Jota Sport for the 2025 WEC season, with Cadillac Hertz Team Jota fielding two V-Series.R cars in the top hypercar class.

The V Series.R will be painted in Jota Sport’s familiar gold livery, with car number 12 driven by Alex Lynn, Will Stevens and Norman Nato, and car number 38 driven by Earl Bamber, Jenson Button and Sébastien Bourdais, and will compete in the WEC opening race, the Qatar 1812km Race, which will have its final race on February 28th.

Cadillac has announced that its factory teams, Cadillac Racing and Hertz Team Jota, will team up to compete in the 2025 WEC season with two V-Series.R cars.
