Bentley Speed Six Continuation
Continuation 2, with 12 units produced

Following the completion of production and delivery of the “Blower Continuation,” production of the second part of the Continuation Project, the “Speed Six Continuation,” is steadily progressing.
Having completed the 12 Blower Continuation cars and delivered them all to their owners, Bentley Motors has decided to continue by bringing the Speed Six, Bentley’s most successful racing car, into the modern era.
Bentley built 182 Speed Sixes between 1928 and 1930, and two victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1929 and 1930 ensured the Speed Six a shining spot in Bentley’s racing history.
The development of this revived racing car, the Speed Six Continuation, used data obtained from the 1930 Speed Six (GU409) owned by the Bentley Heritage Collection, as well as the 1930 Le Mans 24 Hours race car known as Old Number 3. Old Number 3 was loaned by its owner, allowing the Mulliner team responsible for development and production to obtain valuable data on dimensions, materials and components.
The original Speed Six, which debuted in 1928, featured a 6.5-liter inline six-cylinder engine that underwent improvements to increase power, including twin SU carburetors, a high compression ratio, and high-performance camshafts. Over 600 new parts were manufactured for this new engine. Initial testing showed a maximum output of 205 bhp (207 PS), demonstrating the same power as the original 1930 race-tuned engine.
Latest Continental GTC Speed unveiled

At the historic car event Retromobile, Bentley will be showcasing not only a reproduction model of a historic car, but also the Continental GTC Speed, which is equipped with the latest hybrid powertrain.
In addition to the Speed Six Continuation, Retromobile will also unveil the fourth-generation Continental GTC Speed, which combines the latest plug-in hybrid powertrain with handcrafted luxury and everyday usability.
The “Ultra Performance Hybrid” introduced with the new Continental GT combines a newly developed 4.0-liter V8 engine with a maximum output of 600 PS with a 190 PS electric motor, achieving a maximum system output of 782 PS and a maximum torque of 1000 Nm. This provides overwhelming driving performance for an open-air grand tourer.
The convertible features Bentley’s road-friendly 7-bow fabric roof system and is available in seven exterior colors.
