Founded in Hungary by Miklós Kaczmer, Cam Manufaktur is a specialist that has worked exclusively on the Porsche 912. To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the 912’s release, they have produced the 912c 60th Edition.
Founded by Miklós Kaczmer in Budapest, Hungary, Cam Manufaktur specializes in the 912, a lightweight, affordable version of the Porsche 911, produced between 1965 and 1969. The 912 was equipped with a 1.6-liter flat-four engine, and only 32,000 were built between 1965 and 1969.
Now, Cam Manufacture has announced the 912c 60th Edition, a full carbon fiber restomod for collectors, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the birth of the Porsche 912. The 912c 60th Edition features a special paint job and special decals that pay homage to the success of the 912 in motorsports.
Cam Manufacture founder Miklos Kaczmer is excited about the launch of this special edition.
“The Porsche 912 has always been at the heart of my passion, so creating a model to celebrate the 60th anniversary of this iconic sports car is a special moment for Cam Manufaktur. The 912c 60th Edition is a unique car that celebrates the incredible personality of the 912 and its illustrious place in automotive history.”
The ultimate in lightweight design: the 912c

Cam Manufacture has managed to keep the car’s weight to 750 kg by using a lot of carbon fiber components without compromising the simple lines of the original 912.
Unveiled at the 1965 New York Auto Show, the Porsche 912 was developed to expand Porsche’s lineup, filling the gap between the 356 and 911. For most of the past 60 years, the 912 has been overshadowed by the more popular 911, but today it is highly prized by enthusiasts and collectors.
The restomod “Kam 912c” developed by 912 specialists Cam Manufacture has achieved an ultimate weight reduction of approximately 750 kg by making extensive use of carbon fiber components developed in-house, without compromising the classic appeal of the 1960s design.
Two colors that pay homage to the rally

The Camry 912c 60th Edition is available in two liveries: Polish Red (pictured) and Bahamas Yellow, which pay homage to 1960s rallies.
The Cam 912c is handcrafted in the Budapest factory by engineers with experience at manufacturers such as Singer, Koenigsegg, and Porsche Motorsport, based on a 912 donor car. The 60th anniversary model, the Cam 912c 60th Edition, pays homage to the 912’s glorious history in motorsport.
In 1967, Polish driver Sobiesław Zasada drove a 912 to overall victory in the European Rally Championship, contested in Group 1. The beautiful Polish Red version is inspired by Zasada’s 912, while the Bahamas Yellow version recreates the three 912s that competed in the 1967 Rally Sweden.
It is possible to combine street and track suspension, gear ratios, seats, track safety equipment, and special engine tuning. In addition, a wide range of options are available, including a Bluetooth audio system, air conditioning, cabin heater, and wireless charging.
Purchasers of the Kam 912c 60th Edition will be invited to a design consultation with Miklós Kaczmer in Budapest, and will also receive special anniversary merchandise, including a special 912 60th anniversary racing helmet, custom clothing, Kam artwork, and a carbon fiber scale model.
