MSO McLaren Artura Spider Japan Limited Edition
MSO coordinates for the Japanese market
McLaren Special Operations (MSO) has created a special edition vehicle based on the Artura Spider for the Japanese market.
In response to the high demand for special edition vehicles in the Japanese market, McLaren Automotive will be introducing a limited run of 16 special models, each custom-coordinated by its personalisation department, McLaren Special Operations (MSO).
The base model, the Artura Spider, is built on the McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture (MCLA) and is equipped with McLaren’s first mass-produced hybrid system. It combines a 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 605 PS with an electric motor, giving the system a maximum output of 700 PS.
The MSO Allura Spider Japan Limited Edition, which will be sold exclusively in Japan, has been thoroughly customized down to the last detail by MSO to maximize the high performance and unique appeal of the Allura Spider. An exhibition will also be held at authorized McLaren dealerships nationwide from March 15th.
16 carefully selected colors from over 400 colors available
This time, MSO has carefully selected 16 exterior colors from over 400 available to match the carbon fiber components.
The 16-unit limited edition model combines MSO’s choice of over 400 exterior colors with carbon fiber components. The car combines lightweight and elegant design, while the open-top feel and meticulous craftsmanship highlight its exceptional character.
The exterior colors are a selection of 16 colors developed by McLaren paint engineers, including “DELTA RED,” “CASINO BLACK,” “CEPHEUS BLUE,” “CHICANE EFFECT,” “SYNERGISED GREEN,” and “CERULEAN BLUE.”
Optional packs that highlight the appeal of carbon fiber components include the Exterior Detail Carbon Fiber Pack, Carbon Fiber Interior Detail Pack, Rear Spoiler Gloss Carbon Fiber, Tonneau Gloss Carbon Fiber, and Extended Sill Finisher Satin Carbon Fiber.
The brake calipers, wheels, seats, etc. were also carefully selected by MSO to match each exterior color.
