Lanzante Project 95-59
New McLaren-based project

At the 1995 Le Mans 24 Hours, Lanzante Motorsport’s McLaren F1 GTR “Kokusai Kaihatsu UK Racing” won the overall victory. “Project 95-59” combines the racing number “59” from that time with the year of the victory.
Lanzante, a restoration and racing business based in Petersfield, UK, has revealed that they are developing a limited-edition special model based on a McLaren platform, dubbed “Project 95-59.”
The code name “Project 95-59” is a reference to the year of the car’s victory in the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans and its entry number “59.” The car will incorporate all of the experience and technology that Lanzante has built up over 30 years of competing in various motorsports.
The “Project 95-59” is designed and developed with a focus on the driver, with a focus on engineering, technology, ownership and ease of use. Like the McLaren F1, it features a three-seater layout and ample luggage space. It also boasts a power-to-weight ratio of 700 PS per tonne.
The exterior was designed by Paul Hause, the automotive designer behind the iconic McLaren P1. A design and development program is currently underway, with the car set to be unveiled to the public at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2025. A preview event has already been held for selected VIP customers. Details such as the exterior will be announced in the coming weeks.
