Volkswagen ID. EVERY1
Developing sibling models across the group

Volkswagen’s ID. EVERY1 is developed based on the MEB EV platform, and each brand in the Volkswagen Group will also be releasing a sister vehicle.
Volkswagen, which has provided affordable mobility to millions of people since the first Beetle, has unveiled the ID. EVERY1 concept car, heralding the arrival of its latest entry-level fully electric compact car. The exterior is simple yet clearly identifies it as a Volkswagen supermini, with a cute appearance reminiscent of the “Up!”, which was produced until 2023. In contrast to the dynamically shaped headlights, the taillights are said to be designed in the shape of a smiling face.
Following the release of the ID.2all in 2026 at a price of around 25,000 euros, Volkswagen plans to sell the production version of the ID. EVERY1 for around 20,000 euros in 2027. Both models are based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB EV platform and are developed for the B and A segments, which are the volume zones, and sibling models are also planned to be introduced across the group.
Always updated to the latest system

The commercial version of the ID.EVERY1 is equipped with the latest generation software architecture, allowing customers to always use the latest features even after purchase.
Volkswagen will launch a new model series, the “Urban Car Family,” in the European market from 2026. The lineup will be diverse across mass-market segments, ranging from efficient ICE (internal combustion engine) models to advanced hybrid models and future-oriented fully electric models.
The production version of the ID.EVERY1, which will be introduced as a member of the urban car family, is the first Volkswagen Group model to feature the latest generation of software architecture. Although it is an entry-level model, its onboard systems will be updated to the latest generation throughout its lifecycle, ensuring that customers can always use the latest functions even after purchasing a new car.
Thomas Schäfer, CEO of Volkswagen Passenger Cars, commented on the ID. EVERY1, which is part of the urban car family:
“The ID. EVERY1 is the final piece of the puzzle to create a wide model selection in the mass market segment. We will offer every customer the right car with the right drive system. This will position us as the world’s leading technology manufacturer by 2030.”
A size between “up!” and Polo

The ID. EVERY1 is 3,880 mm long, which is larger than the up! and slightly smaller than the Polo. Thanks to the efficient layout of components, it has enough space for four adults to relax comfortably.
Like the ID. 2all and ID. GTI Concept, the ID. EVERY1 is part of a new generation of electric urban cars, all based on the modular MEB platform. It features front-wheel drive with a front-mounted motor, and efficient component placement ensures ideal interior space.
It is equipped with a newly developed motor that produces a maximum output of 70kW (95PS), and has a top speed of 130km/h. It has a cruising range of over 250km, which is sufficient for travelling in urban areas. The overall length is 3880mm, which is about 200mm longer than the up!’s 3600mm, and is positioned between the ID.2all (4050mm) and the current Polo (4074mm). The interior seats four people and has a luggage room with a capacity of 305L.
