The Jaguar Type 00 prototype, seen driving through the snowy Swedish mountains, is heavily camouflaged, so details are unclear. We expect to see a steeply sloping roof and sleek rear lines hidden beneath the camouflage. The car’s long wheelbase provides ample space for the large, rectangular charging port flaps located between the doors and the front wheels. It has also been confirmed that there are two charging ports, one on each side.
On the side, we can see the flush-surface door handles, and we can also see that the sedan is actually a liftback. Jaguar is using an unconventional yet clean new design to give the car unique proportions. It will have an entirely new look, including an unusually long bonnet for an electric car, measuring over five metres in length.

[3] The production model of the Type 00 is currently being developed using a dedicated EV platform. [4] It is expected to be the “most powerful Jaguar ever.”
The new EV will be developed based on a dedicated EV platform called JEA (Jaguar Electrified Architecture). It will have a range of 800km, and can travel more than 300km on a 15-minute charge. Although technical specifications have not been revealed, the manufacturer previously commented that “it will be the most powerful Jaguar model to date.”
This electric Gran Turismo is expected to be unveiled in 2026.
