The Black Rose Bath
Luxuriously placed 18K rose gold

18K rose gold parts weighing up to 210 grams are lavishly placed in various parts of the interior, such as the drive mode selector on the dashboard and the vent controls.
Bentley’s bespoke division, Mulliner, will create 18 Batours. The Black Rose Batour unveiled this time is one of them. It is also a rare right-hand drive model, with only three in existence. This beautiful work of art was created through close collaboration between a prestigious customer and the Mulliner design team.
The exterior features Mulliner’s “Black Rose” metallic paint and a glossy Beluga upper body. Thematic “Satin Rose Gold” accents appear on the front grille, endless hood line brightware, mirror caps, lower body kit, and 22-inch tri-tone wheels.
The interior combines dark Beluga leather and charcoal grey tweed fabric with the soft sheen of rose gold. A first for the automotive industry, 210g of 18K rose gold is applied to the dashboard drive mode selector, organ stop vent controls, steering wheel insert markers, and more.
Hallmarked 18K parts

The 18K rose gold used in the interior design was developed in collaboration with the precious metals workshop Cocksungold, and bears a British hallmark to certify its quality.
The 18K rose gold was crafted in collaboration with Cooksongold, a leading British precious metals workshop. This marks an automotive industry first, combining traditional materials and finishing techniques with cutting-edge 3D printing technology. The 18K rose gold used is sustainably sourced from 100% recycled jewellery, reflecting Bentley’s commitment to being a sustainable luxury brand.
All precious metal components manufactured for Batoul, including the 18K rose gold, are hallmarked in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter to ensure the quality of the materials. Additionally, all components manufactured in 2022 will be stamped with the Jubilee Hallmark, celebrating the Platinum Jubilee Year of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
