The development of the A110 GT4+ utilized knowledge gained from circuit racing with the A110 GT4 and A110 GT4 Evo, as well as experience gained from the A110 Rally GT+ rally car.

The A110 GT4, introduced by Alpine in 2018, is a private racing car developed by Signatech, based in Bourges, France, based on the A110, a production model boasting outstanding qualities such as a compact body, light weight, and optimal front-to-rear weight distribution. The car achieved a historic victory in the 2018 GT4 International Cup held in Bahrain.

In 2022, the evolutionary A110 GT4 Evo was released. Signatech made improvements to the gearbox, turbo, engine block, etc. The A110 GT4 Evo won its first title in the FFSA GT Championship in the 2023 season, and also won the GT4 European Series in 2024.

In the GT4 segment, where development competition is fierce, Alpine will introduce the A110 GT4+, a significant evolution of the A110 GT4 Evo, in 2025. In addition to knowledge gained from circuit racing, the development also makes use of various feedback from the A110 Rally GT+, which was entered in the WRC’s R-GT class.

The A110 GT4+ was developed as a privateer racing car with the aim of providing unprecedented ease of handling, boasting not only a performance level that beats many rivals, but also a significant reduction in operating costs and improved reliability.

The exterior has also undergone aerodynamic changes, including the adoption of a carbon fiber rear window screen and a stronger carbon fiber front splitter than before to withstand intense battles on the circuit.

The car is fitted with a turbocharging system and cooling system derived from the A110 Rally GT+ rally car, redesigned gearbox spacers, a carbon fibre airbox and a larger front radiator. The exhaust system and various anti-lag and traction control systems have also been updated. A newly developed atmospheric pressure adaptation system allows the car to adapt to altitude changes without the need for additional ballast.

The A110 GT4+ took part in a test race at the final round of the 2024 Ultimate Endurance GT Cup, where it achieved a class victory. Its high potential and improved reliability were also demonstrated in the six-hour race held at Paul Ricard.

The Alpine A110 Rally, driven by Armand Fumal, will compete in the final WRC round, Rally Japan.
