PORSCHE Cayenne Coupe EV
Muscular and sporty proportions

The exterior design of the next-generation Cayenne Coupe gives off a muscular and sporty impression.
The Porsche Cayenne Coupe EV prototype, spotted in the snowy Finnish mountains, resembles a slender Macan EV at first glance, but its muscular proportions are striking. The sloping rear line also gives it a sportier look than the scooped SUV-bodied next-generation Cayenne.
Maximum output over 1000PS?

It is expected to be equipped with quad motors with a total output of over 1000PS.
The Macan EV shares the Volkswagen Group’s “PPE” modular platform, designed for premium EVs. The Macan is equipped with a 100kWh battery pack and a motor that drives each axle. The combined output reaches 630 PS in the turbo model, but the Cayenne is expected to have even higher output.
The latest information suggests that the Cayenne EV could be equipped with four electric motors with a combined output of over 1000 PS, and is expected to feature a high-performance system that provides precise torque vectoring control even at high speeds.
Continuation of engine-equipped models

Even after the EV model is released, the current Cayenne with an engine will likely continue to be sold alongside it.
The SUV-bodied Cayenne EV is scheduled to arrive in 2026. A coupe variant may also be released at the same time, but Porsche is likely to delay its market launch by six months to a year.
The current gasoline and plug-in hybrid Cayenne models were planned to be phased out, but Porsche is said to have changed its strategy due to the slowdown in EV demand. It appears that the current Cayenne will be kept alive with a second facelift. It is also known that Porsche has begun development of a Macan with a gasoline engine.
