Mercedes-Benz Vision V
An ultra-luxury limousine MPV aimed at the Chinese market

The new minivan will be developed based on the flexible and expandable “VAN.EA.” The “Vision V,” unveiled in Shanghai this time, is a concept model of an ultra-luxury limousine with a long wheelbase.
Mercedes-Benz Vans plans to launch a fully electric van based on the VAN.EA in 2026. This will be followed by a van based on the VAN.CA (Van Combustion Architecture) equipped with an internal combustion engine (ICE). Mercedes-Benz Vans’ future lineup of vans and MPVs will feature models that meet the needs of a wide range of customers, from practical entry-segment family vans to luxury VIP shuttles and spacious, luxurious limousines.
The luxury MPV concept “Vision V,” which was unveiled for the first time at the Shanghai Motor Show, features specifications that focus on a private lounge.
The Vision V combines the spaciousness and supreme exclusivity of the expandable “VAN.EA” with an unprecedented immersive digital experience. It was developed as a luxurious and elegant chauffeured limousine with the highest level of comfort. The sporty and elegant exterior emphasizes the iconic Mercedes-Benz design, evoking dynamism and status.
Thomas Klein of Mercedes-Benz Vans commented on the Vision V:
“The Vision V marks the beginning of a new era for Mercedes-Benz Vans. It demonstrates that we can create a new segment by combining a spacious cabin with the highest levels of luxury. This will enable us to offer design, comfort and an immersive user experience that meets the most demanding customers.”
A spacious and luxurious rear cabin

The spacious cabin, taking advantage of the long wheelbase, offers a luxurious space filled with luxurious materials.
The Vision V introduces a large, automatically opening and closing “Portal” door on the right side of the body, and an illuminated retractable running board allows easy access to the rear lounge area. An intelligent, switchable glass wall separates the private lounge from the driver’s area, and the glass can be switched from transparent to opaque as needed.
The spacious seating area in the private lounge not only provides a sense of spaciousness not found in any previous Mercedes-Benz MPV, but also a sense of security and tranquility. The interior concept is a fusion of technology and elegance, incorporating ultra-modern, high-tech design elements that are both stylish and unexpected.
Crystal white nappa leather and shimmering white silk contrast beautifully with open-pore walnut trim. A luxurious sideboard-like display cabinet is inset into the Saidwal dark wood trim and framed with a polished aluminum trim strip, providing storage for personal accessories such as handbags, sunglasses and smartphones.
The car is equipped with a game controller and a surround sound system with 42 speakers. The center console between the rear seats doubles as a display cabinet, featuring a touchpad for operating the infotainment system and a foldable table. The table is designed to resemble a fine chessboard, paying homage to the beauty and elegance of traditional craftsmanship.
65-inch cinema screen installed

The rear passenger space is equipped with a 65-inch “cinema screen” that projects 4K images. When not in use, it can be stored under the floor.
The First Class seats, reminiscent of elegant lounge chairs, are set on polished aluminum base rails. The unique, futuristic design of the seats features flexible tubular cushions, each held in place by a polished aluminum piece.
The electrically adjustable seats provide the ultimate in ergonomic comfort, living up to the First Class name. They can also be reclined into a comfortable flat position, providing the ultimate in passenger comfort. A fragrance bottle in an elegant aluminium bottle is located behind the centre console, enveloping passengers in a sensual fragrance.
The retractable 65-inch cinema screen (with split-screen function) is normally stored under the floor. When a passenger enters the car and closes the door, it magically unfolds from the console, designed with walnut and nappa leather. The cinema screen transforms the interior of the car into an immersive experience like no other.
The 4K cinema screen delivers crisp, detailed images, while the surround sound system creates a perfect acoustic environment. Seven projectors are installed in the headliner and floor, and the side windows double as additional screens, providing passengers with a 360-degree digital experience.
