The Porsche 911 Spirit 70, which will be sold in a limited run of 1,500 units worldwide, is the third Heritage Design model.

The Porsche 911 Spirit 70 is a limited edition car inspired by the culture of the 1970s and early 1980s, featuring exclusive olive neo-color, decorative graphics, the legendary Pasha pattern on the interior, and other Porsche heritage designs. This is the third in the series of “Heritage Design Models” in which Porsche has brought iconic design elements of the past back to the present.

The 911 Spirit 70 is based on the 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet, which is equipped with a performance hybrid. The newly developed 3.6-liter horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine, combined with the newly developed T-hybrid system and an electric motor integrated into the PDK, achieves high power performance with a maximum system output of 398 kW (541 PS) and a maximum system torque of 610 Nm.

Michael Mauer, Head of Porsche Style at Porsche AG, explains the 911 Spirit 70 as follows:

“Heritage Design models occupy a special place in Porsche’s product strategy, even in terms of design. These limited-edition sports cars embody the special allure of the Porsche brand. All of our designs are deeply connected to history, but these vehicles take that history a step further, demonstrating that historical design elements can be reinterpreted even in cutting-edge sports cars.”

Alexander Fabik, Head of Individualisation & Classics, added:

“Limited edition collector’s items have great appeal to customers around the world. The two models created using our heritage design strategy resurrected lifestyles from past decades and generated a great response. Building on this success, we are now introducing a third, exclusive model.”

To coincide with the launch of the 911 Spirit 70, Porsche will release a new app for Apple Vision Pro. This app will allow customers to customize their 911 Spirit 70 and gain deeper insight into the iconic design of the era. The app will be available free of charge on the App Store for Apple Vision Pro in spring 2025.

Special color “Olive Neo” adopted

The body color chosen is a specially toned green called “Olive Neo,” and the hood features a “decorative stripe” inspired by the visibility-enhancing stickers popular in the 1970s.

Porsche’s designers and paint specialists have specially developed the modern shade of rich, deep green “Olive Neo” for the 911 Spirit 70. The lower rear, front section and Fuchs Sport Classic wheels are finished in grey-gold “Bronzite” for a stimulating contrast. The soft top and windscreen frame are black.

The hood features three gloss black silk “decorative stripes,” inspired by the visibility-enhancing stickers common in the 1970s. At the time, sports car drivers would apply vertical stripes to the body of their car to make it easier to see in their rearview mirrors while driving on the highway or on a race track. These vertical stripes are also featured in the soft top in a similar color.

The decorative side graphics feature the word “Porsche” and a circular “lollipop” start number in gloss black silk. The exclusive start number pays homage to Porsche’s traditional motorsport heritage. The front bonnet features a “Porsche Crest” that is almost identical to the historic crest from 1963, while the front fenders feature a gold-colored “Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur” badge and the trunk lid grille features a Porsche Heritage badge.

Pasha pattern and dedicated meter panel

The highlight of the interior is the Pasha pattern fabric in black/olive neo. This graphic design is inspired by a checkered flag and is created by cleverly arranging rectangles of various sizes to create a dynamic pattern. Instead of the traditional jacquard velour, the 911 Spirit 70 combines this with a textile made from flocked yarn, which improves the feel against the skin and increases comfort, especially on long journeys.

The Pasha pattern is also featured on the 18-way sports seats plus, the door center panels, and the inside of the glove box. The decorative inlays on the seat backrests and dashboard trim are also available as options. The reversible trunk mat is also finished in the Pasha pattern.

Also standard are elegant Basalt Black Club Leather Trim with Olive Neo decorative stitching and the Basalt Black Club Leather Interior Package.

The instrument cluster combines historic design with cutting-edge technology. The high-resolution 12.65-inch display features a white pointer and scale lines in analog format. The green numerals are a nod to the legendary Porsche 356, and the model logo is elegantly integrated into the fully digital rev counter.

In 2022, the 911 Sport Classic, which revives the style of the 1960s and early 1970s, was sold in a limited run of 1,250 units.

Porsche aims to expand its customization options and already offers over 1,000 options, including Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. Over the past five years, the average number of vehicles sold equipped with Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur has doubled. Going forward, the company plans to significantly expand the production capacity of Exclusive Manufaktur to meet the needs of even more customers.

Porsche Design has created a high-quality chronograph exclusively for customers who purchase its latest collector’s item.
