In the 1965 season, Jim Clark dominated F1 with six wins, and also won the Indy 500 in the United States.

In the 1965 season, Clark won the Formula 1 championship with Team Lotus, taking the World Championship and also winning the Indianapolis 500. This feat remains unparalleled to this day, and Jim Clark and Team Lotus’ achievements have forever been etched in motorsport history.

That same year, Clark also won championship titles in Formula 2 and the Tasman Series in Australia and New Zealand, and further demonstrated his talent by winning touring car races in a Lotus Cortina. To pay homage to this legendary and successful season, Lotus has created the Emira Clark Edition, a tangible tribute to Jim Clark, an icon of motorsport innovation.

Based on the Emira V6, which is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces a maximum output of 400 PS, the car combines the outstanding performance of the latest mid-engine sports car with a homage to the legendary Scottish racing driver and the Lotus racing cars he drove.

The exterior pays homage to the color scheme of the Lotus Type 38 that won the 1965 Indy 500.

The Emira Clark Edition exterior features an exclusive Clark Racing Green finish with a contrasting black roof, silver door mirrors and the iconic yellow stripe that borders the front of the car, inspired by the Lotus Type 38 that Jim Clark drove to victory in the 1965 Indianapolis 500.

The car’s unique design is accentuated by a blue anodized machined aluminum fuel cap and bright yellow exhaust pipes. The distinctive lines of the body are accentuated with hand-painted yellow pinstripes, and the “Clark Edition” branding on the doors is inspired by the racing cars Clark drove.
