The Ferrari F50 owners will travel along the beautiful winding roads of Tuscany before heading to their final destination, Maranello, where they will be treated to a commemorative photo session at the factory headquarters.

On March 9th, 1995, at the Geneva Motor Show, with just two years to go until its 50th anniversary, Ferrari unveiled the F50, a special edition car following on from the GTO (288 GTO) and F40. The F50 featured a 4.7-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine developed based on an F1 power unit, housed in a carbon fiber monocoque chassis. At the time, it featured the most advanced aerodynamics.

A total of 349 F50s were produced, and many of them are still in working order, with many F50 owners participating in the “F50 Legacy Tour 2025.” The “F50 Legacy Tour 2025” commemorates the 30th anniversary of the F50’s debut and is planned as the third Legacy Tour, following the “F40 Legacy Tour” in 2023 and the “GTO Legacy Tour” in 2024.

The five-day event will start on May 6 in Saturnia, Tuscany, and will take in the Maremma region, the hills around Siena, and the Tuscan and Emilian Apennines, before finishing at Ferrari headquarters in Maranello for a parade run around the Fiorano circuit after an exhibition and photo shoot at the factory.

The tour will also see the debut of Pirelli’s new P Zero Corsa System Collezione tyres, specially developed for the F50. These come in sizes 245/35 R18 (front) and 335/30 R18 (rear), and feature special “Ferrari F50 Legacy Tour 2025” engraving on the sidewalls.

The Ferrari GTO had its world premiere at the 1984 Geneva Motor Show. The unofficial name was "288 GTO."

Ferrari GTO 40th Anniversary Event “GTO Legacy Tour 2024” to be held in the Italian Dolomites in October 2024

A special event commemorating the 40th anniversary of the birth of the Ferrari GTO (288 GTO), the “GTO Legacy Tour 2024,” will be held in October 2024. This drive event will be held in the Dolomites region of Italy, and will be the second Legacy Tour following the first one held a year ago for the “Ferrari F40.”
