Porsche Strasse
New guide signs installed at Shimomiyata intersection

Following the announcement of the extension of the Porsche Traum Strasse, Kisarazu Mayor Yoshikuni Watanabe (left), Porsche Japan Product & Service Division Executive Officer Takayuki Fujii (center), and Sodegaura Mayor Tomohiro Kasuya (right) made the announcement.
On October 1, 2021, when the Porsche Experience Center Tokyo (PEC Tokyo) opened, Porsche Japan announced that it had acquired the naming rights to Route 125 in Kisarazu City, Chiba. Porsche Strasse is the only public road in Japan named after an imported car brand.
Seven road signs have been installed along the 1km section of Kisarazu City Road 125, known as “Porsche Strasse.” In addition to being written in Japanese and German, the road numbers feature Porsche’s iconic crest design.
This time, a 680m section of the Yoshinoda Kamimiyata Line municipal road in Sodegaura City, adjacent to PEC Tokyo, has been newly expanded, and the 1,680m section of road from one intersection leading to the gate of PEC Tokyo to the other has crossed the city border and become “Porsche Strasse.”
A new guide sign will be installed at the Shimomiyata intersection, the starting point of the street, on April 30, 2025. This sign will guide people to “Porsche Strasse” as a symbol of the regional collaboration between Kisarazu City, Sodegaura City, and Porsche Japan.
