Ferrari 296 LMGT3
Ferrari wins both classes in Le Mans warm-up race

In the third race, the Spa 6 Hours, the Ferrari 296 LMGT3 No. 21 took the top step of the podium in the LMGT3 class as well as the top category Hypercar class.
In the third race, the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, known as a prelude to the fourth race, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Ferrari achieved a 1-2 finish in the top Hypercar class with the 499P. In addition, Vista AF Corse’s #21 296 LMGT3 won the LMGT3 class, with the #54 car (Thomas Flor, Francesco Castellacci, Davide Rigon) coming in third.
In the final race, starting driver Hélio drove brilliantly in the No. 21 car, taking the lead in his class, but a drive-through penalty caused him to drop significantly back down the order. Meanwhile, Flor, who was in charge of the first stint in the No. 54 car, managed to stay within the points. In the second stint, Mann in the No. 21 car showed great pace, moving back up the order to within sight of the leader.
The Ferraris took control of the race for the final two hours. Rovera in the #21 car set the fastest lap and made a decisive overtake to take the lead, which he maintained at the finish line. Rigon in the #54 car also finished in third place, behind the #88 Ford Mustang LMGT3.
Car No. 21 moves up to second place, and car No. 54 moves up to fourth place.

The Ferrari 296 LMGT3 #21, which took home victory in the third race of the season, has risen to second place in the LMGT3 class, while the #54 car has also risen to fourth place.
The last time Ferrari won the GT category at the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps was two years ago, when they won the LMGTE Am class in 2023. At the time, Rovera also took the win at the wheel of the Richard Mille AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Evo alongside Lillou Waddu and Luis Pérez Companc.
This was also the first victory for the 296 LMGT3 since the Bahrain 8 Hours, the final race of the 2024 season. The crew of car No. 21 added 40 points in this race, moving them up to second in the LMGT3 class standings. Car No. 54 also earned 31 points, moving them up to fourth in the standings. Rovera, who led car No. 21 to the finish in first place, reflected on the race as follows:
“I was in seventh place in the final stint, with four fresh tyres. The 296 LMGT3 was fantastic and I was able to give it my all. The tyre conditions were also great in the final stint. It was great fun driving the 296 LMGT3 on a circuit like Spa.”
