First facelift in 5 years

The current Cadillac Escalade, which debuted in 2020, has undergone a major facelift, including the introduction of a variety of the latest features.
The Cadillac Escalade has sold more than one million units as America’s leading luxury full-size SUV, from the first model that debuted in 1999 to the current fifth-generation model that went on sale in 2020. The updated new model that has now gone on sale in Japan adopts Cadillac’s latest design language, which was introduced with the brand’s first EV, the Lyriq.
The exterior features a new front fascia and optional 24-inch large wheels. The interior also features a front display on the passenger side, and the center console and steering wheel have also been updated.
The newly adopted “power open/close door” has a built-in sensor and motor. It controls opening and closing in strong winds and on slopes, automatically detects obstacles, and supports door operation. Electric assist steps and soft close functions are also standard equipment, escorting the driver and passengers smoothly into and out of the vehicle.
The rear camera mirror can be used not only as a regular rearview mirror, but also as a digital mirror, displaying a wide-angle rear view. The angle adjustment and zoom functions improve field of view and visibility, creating a safer driving environment.
The 6.2-liter V8 gasoline engine delivers a maximum output of 416 PS and a maximum torque of 624 Nm. It features “Dynamic Fuel Management” that shuts down four or six of the eight cylinders during low-load conditions, such as cruising. Furthermore, the latest 10-speed automatic transmission ensures a comfortable drive in any driving situation.
Latest Cadillac Design Language

This time, the front section and other parts have been updated to the latest Cadillac design introduced with the fully electric crossover “LYRIQ.”
The car has been updated with the latest Cadillac design, emphasizing wider proportions. The front face features vertical LED headlights and turn signal lamps on both ends of the body, highlighting the Cadillac character, while the high eye point and newly designed front grille create an overwhelming presence. In addition, the Platinum and Sport grades introduced in Japan feature designs with different concepts, each expressing boldness and elegance.
The rear section is equipped with iconic vertical combination lights. In addition, the newly designed alloy wheels now come in a dynamic large diameter of 24 inches in addition to the conventional 22 inches.
Adopts a curved 55-inch HD curved display

The cockpit now features a curved 55-inch HD curved front display that extends from the driver’s side to the passenger’s side.
The interior features a curved 55-inch HD curved front display. The driver’s screen with 8K resolution and the passenger’s screen with 4K resolution are seamlessly connected from left to right. The driver’s side is equipped with the world’s first in-car surround vision that displays the entire vehicle, as well as a variety of vehicle information displayed clearly and with high visibility. The passenger’s dedicated screen can be used to view favorite content and vehicle information using the HDMI terminal at their feet.
The new interface is designed around a tablet-style command center mounted on the center console. All functions, including air conditioning, lighting, and seat adjustments, can be controlled through this. The jog dial, featuring the beautifully illuminated Cadillac crest, and the physical volume control switches remain in place. The steering wheel has also been redesigned to pay homage to classic Cadillacs.
The interior is generously crafted with genuine materials, including rich natural wood and smooth semi-aniline leather. This high-quality space, meticulously handcrafted, offers the kind of relaxation and status that can only be found in the Escalade. It’s also lavishly equipped with the finest features, including a panoramic power sunroof (with power sunshade) that provides a sense of openness, 12-way adjustable front power seats with heating and ventilation, and a refrigerator with freezer function.
Japan-exclusive “LAUNCH EDITION”

To commemorate the introduction of the improved new model in Japan, the Escalade Sport LAUNCH EDITION, equipped with special features, will be sold exclusively in the Japanese market.
The “LAUNCH EDITION,” available exclusively in the Japanese market, is based on the Escalade Sport and features an “Argent Silver Metallic” body color, which is not available on the “Sport” model. It comes standard with 24-inch 7-spoke pearl nickel alloy wheels. The monochromatic Cadillac crest on the front and rear also highlights this special model.
The rear section is fitted with a gloss black model badge and torque badge to emphasize the aggressive style, while the exclusive interior color of Share Gray with Jet Black accents is covered in semi-aniline full leather with facet quilting.
