The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series is Mercedes-Maybach’s fourth model, based on the SL and given its own exclusive interior and exterior design.
Mercedes-Maybach has added the luxury two-seater convertible “Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series” to its lineup. Developed as a two-seater sports car that interprets the iconic style of the SL in the Maybach style, it is the sportiest model in the history of the Maybach brand.
All the elements that characterise a Mercedes-Maybach – expert craftsmanship, premium materials and exquisite details – are combined in a dynamic driving experience. The exterior and interior feature Maybach patterns and are exclusively coordinated with colours and materials.
The powertrain is a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine that produces a maximum output of 585 PS and a maximum torque of 800 Nm, combined with a 9G-tronic automatic transmission (9-speed AT) and the latest “4MATIC+” all-wheel drive system. Daniel Lescaut, head of Mercedes-Maybach at Mercedes-Benz Group AG, commented on the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series as follows:

Bonnet with Maybach logo
An optional Obsidian Black bonnet incorporating a graphite grey “Maybach pattern” is also available.
The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram series is available in two unique two-tone paint finishes: “Red Ambience” combines Manufacture Garnet Red Metallic with Obsidian Black Metallic, while “White Ambience” combines Manufacture Opalite White Magno with Obsidian Black Metallic.
The vibrant red and elegant white both exude a sensual beauty and a sense of lightness. The tinted clear coats, featuring rich colors and deep effects, were specially developed for Mercedes-Maybach. Customers can also choose from more than 50 exterior colors to suit their requirements.
The headlights feature rose gold accents, the chrome radiator grille is contoured with a special illumination and features intricately incorporated “MAYBACH” lettering, and the bonnet also features the Mercedes three-pointed star with a beautiful chrome fin running along its center from front to rear.
An optional Obsidian Black bonnet with a graphite gray “Maybach pattern” is also available. This bonnet is the result of a highly complex process, with parts being handcrafted. The exclusive front skirt features horizontal air intakes that emphasize the car’s width. The windscreen frame is finished in gleaming chrome, and the silk cladding also features chrome inserts.
Fabric roof with special pattern
It is equipped with an acoustic comfort soft top made of fabric with an anthracite Maybach pattern.
The acoustic comfort soft top is made of light black fabric, ensuring high sound insulation and featuring a subtle Maybach pattern in anthracite. The rear features Maybach Signet taillights, a special rear skirt and diffuser with chrome trim, and tailpipe trim with horizontal bars.
A double scoop is placed behind the seats, significantly improving the aerodynamics level and highlighting the special model. This double scoop, together with the chrome fins on the hood, creates an elegant and sporty side section when the soft top is lowered.
Choose a floral design seat
The nappa leather seat surface, manufactured using sustainable methods, features a newly introduced floral design stitching.
The interior is upholstered in sustainably tanned Crystal White Manufacture Exclusive Nappa leather with silver chrome trim. Nappa leather is also used on the door panels, center console, and Maybach-exclusive comfort seats. The seat upholstery also features floral stitching.
The area behind the seats is also finished in white nappa leather, with the zinc-plated seat backrests and silver chrome trim providing a bright contrast to the white leather.
The fully digital instrument panel and electrically adjustable centre display feature start-up animations and display styles exclusive to Maybach, while the steering wheel, stainless steel pedals and stainless steel door sill trims also feature exclusive Maybach designs.
Also available are a collection of clothing and bags.

To coincide with the launch of the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram series, MAYBACH Icons of Luxury will be launching its latest collection in boutiques and online stores, featuring clothing and bag designs inspired by the materials and colors of the open-top two-seater.
