Jeep Awning and Rooftop Tent
Lightweight and highly aerodynamic

The Awning & Rooftop Tent (ARTT) concept featured on the Jeep Wrangler 4xe Sunchaser was developed in collaboration with Dometic, achieving lightweight and highly aerodynamic design.
Jeep Performance Parts (JPP), a division of Mopar, a Stellantis Group company, unveiled the Awning & Rooftop Tent (ARTT) concept for auto campers at the Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Designed exclusively for the four-door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, the ARTT Concept was developed in collaboration with Dometic, a global market leader in mobile living, to create a premium, lightweight, low-profile integrated awning and rooftop tent system.
Car rooftop tents are becoming increasingly popular in the camping industry. However, they reduce aerodynamic performance and require heavy loads on the roof, posing significant challenges for car camping enthusiasts. The ARTT Concept features an aerodynamic carbon fiber shell. Its superior aerodynamics and light weight allow it to efficiently and securely mount directly to the roof of a Jeep Wrangler, eliminating the need for a heavy roof rack system.
Queen-sized space

The ARTT is easy to deploy and has space inside the tent for a queen-size mattress.
The lightweight, aerodynamic carbon fiber shell utilizes Dometic’s AIR Frame inflation technology. It includes an easy-to-set-up tent and an integrated awning that rotates 270 degrees. The tent also features space for a queen-size mattress.
The biggest difference from conventional rooftop tent systems is that the interior of the ARTT can be accessed from inside the Jeep Wrangler through a removable Freedom Panel. It also comes equipped with a carbon fiber step to protect the center console. Mike Koval, Senior Vice President, Jeep, commented on the ARTT:
“The lightweight and compact ARTT Concept Jeep Performance Parts is the perfect accessory for adventure-seeking Jeep Wrangler owners, whether they’re covering long distances or just enjoying a spontaneous weekend getaway.”
