Alpine A390 GTS
Production to begin in 2025 at the Dieppe plant

The A390, Alpine’s third model and the second in the Dream Garage (BEV) series following the A290, will begin production in 2025.
The A390, Alpine’s second fully electric model after the A290, has been added to its lineup. The A390 was developed as a five-seater fully electric fastback crossover with the agility and performance of the A110. The latest on-board technology, three powerful electric motors, and Alpine’s exclusive chassis setup give it driving performance that surpasses its rivals not only in urban areas but also on winding roads.
The A390’s all-electric platform will be supplied by Ampere, a Renault-affiliated electric vehicle and software developer, and owners will also be offered charging services, including two-way V2G charging developed by Mobilize Power Solutions.
The A390 is designed and manufactured at Manufacture Alpine Dieppe Jean Rédéré in Dieppe, the birthplace of Alpine. Prices in France start at 65,000 euros for the GT and 76,000 euros for the performance GTS. Sales are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025, and final prices will be announced when orders begin in the sales region.
Luca de Meo, CEO of the Renault Group, which owns the Alpine brand, commented on the announcement of the Alpine A390:
“Someone once said, ‘Life begins at 70,’ and for Alpine, this could very well be true. In 2025, the 70th anniversary of Alpine’s founding, the second model of the ‘Dream Garage,’ the A390, will make its debut here.”
“When the A390 goes on sale in 2025, it will remind the world that ‘soul matters more than software.’ For a Car Enthusiast like me, there’s nothing more exciting than reviving a legendary brand, expanding it into new territories and demonstrating that the original recipe lives on.”
Aerodynamic exterior

The exterior, inspired by a prototype racing car cutting through the air, features aerodynamic components throughout the body.
The A390, with its elegant sports fastback form and distinctive Alpine character, offers a spacious interior that can accommodate five passengers. Despite its manageable body dimensions of 4615mm in length, 1885mm in width and 1532mm in height, it offers unprecedented spaciousness for an Alpine fully electric vehicle.
The exterior design aims to convey 100% Alpine DNA from both close and far, with the helmet visor-style rear window and compact glass surfaces creating a sporty, sleek form.
The front bumper’s triangular shape is inspired by the Alps. The front section features daytime running lights named “Cosmic Dust” that resemble a comet. The rear section features the “Alpine” logo in the center and a sharp light bar that appears to cut through the body.
The aerodynamics of the car, which directly impacts range, have been thoroughly explored, including a 17-degree roof angle, rear wheel flaps, and a rear diffuser inspired by the LMDh prototype racing car. A black spoiler integrated into the lower part of the rear window unobtrusively completes the aerodynamic system of this sports fastback.
The six body colors available are Noir Profon, Bleu Abyss, Bleu Alpine Vision, Argento Mercure, Blanc Topaz, and Gris Tonnerre Matte. The roof can be chosen in either the body color or black. The car is fitted with exclusive 20-inch aerodynamic crystal wheels inspired by endurance racing as standard. 21-inch Alpine Snowflake Style wheels are also available as an option.
Performance target is “A110”

Although the A390 is a fully electric crossover, it offers performance comparable to the sports model A110 R.
The powertrain is based on the AmpR Medium platform, developed by the Renault Group specifically for EVs, and has been given its own unique flavor by Alpine. The battery is located in the floor, resulting in a low center of gravity, and ideal weight distribution of 49% front and 51% rear. This provides balanced, playful handling that is characteristic of Alpine.
The aluminum chassis, manufactured in France, is equipped with one electric motor on the front and two on the rear axle. The three-motor all-wheel drive provides the highest level of traction in all conditions. The high-performance “GTS” model delivers a maximum system output of 470 PS and a maximum torque of 808 Nm, with a top speed of 220 km/h (limited). Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.9 seconds, which is comparable to the A110 R.
The generous battery capacity of 89 kWh provides a maximum range of 555 km (WLTP) with 20-inch wheels and 520 km with 21-inch wheels. A heat pump is standard on all trim levels, optimizing the interior temperature and helping to extend the range.
Sovany Ang, Alpine’s vice president of product performance, commented on the A390’s performance:
“We set a very high bar for the performance of the A390. Our engineers and test drivers have risen to the technical challenge, delivering an electric fastback with performance comparable to the A110, but with the range and comfort to match.”
Alpine-like racy interior space

The cockpit is fitted with 12.3-inch and 12-inch high-resolution screens, and Alpine sports seats with electric adjustment and heating provide excellent support as standard.
The cockpit is surrounded by 12.3-inch and 12-inch high-resolution screens. The flat-bottom heated sports steering wheel is finished in blue nappa leather. The steering wheel controls the driving mode, driver assistance, phone, voice assistant and climate control functions. Two dedicated aluminum buttons inspired by Formula 1 Grand Prix racing are located on the steering wheel, controlling the regeneration level up to “one-pedal” mode and “boost” mode for overtaking.
The center console is inspired by the A110, and materials such as Alcantara are used strikingly on the seats and trim. Supportive and comfortable electrically adjustable heated Alpine sport seats are standard, with the Alpine “A” logo embroidered on the top of the seat. The top-of-the-line model is equipped with Sabelt sport seats in blue and gray nappa leather, with optional carbon twill or forged carbon inserts in the rear section.
The rear seats provide ample support for two passengers, even during sporty driving. The luggage compartment boasts a spacious 532L capacity under normal conditions, and by adding an optional double floor, it can be used for a variety of purposes.
