The Ferrari 275 GTB/4 and 365 GTB/4 occupy a very special place in the history of the Maranello marque due to their history, condition and especially their colour.”

A rare “Plexi” Daytona

This 1970 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona is a rare example of the “Plexi” model, featuring Plexiglas headlights before they were changed to retractable headlights.
The 1970 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona is one of the most collectible cars in automotive history. Its beautiful body lines, designed by Leonardo Fioravanti, exude timeless appeal and continue to be immensely popular with historic car collectors around the world.

The car being auctioned is one of only two to have been finished in the beautiful Avorio livery at the Maranello factory. It was delivered new through the famous Garage Francorchamps in Brussels, Belgium, and its first owner was racing driver Hughes de Philant.
Equipped with engine number “B 262”, it has been stored in Belgium since then. It has been fully restored, and the interior is finished in original beige Scuro leather with black inserts. In 2011, it also received Ferrari Classiche certification.
