The Ferrari Daytona SP3 Tailor Made being auctioned for charity features a two-tone color scheme that combines carbon fiber and Giallo Modena.

Ferrari will put up a Ferrari Daytona SP3 Tailor Made at a charity auction hosted by RM Sotheby’s at Monterey Car Week in California in August 2025. This SP3 will be a one-of-a-kind, precious vehicle, crafted with meticulous attention to detail to highlight Ferrari’s racing heritage.

The Daytona SP3 was unveiled at the 2021 Ferrari Finali Mondiali as part of the limited “Icona” series, following the Monza SP1 and SP2. Based on the chassis of the LaFerrari Aperta, it features a special exterior that pays homage to the sports prototypes that were active in the 1960s. Only 599 units were sold, and all have been sold out.

The “Daytona SP3 Tailor Made” being auctioned for charity was created through Ferrari’s bespoke and customization program. It features a two-tone finish combining carbon fiber and Giallo Modena, with the front splitter, side sills, and rear diffuser painted gloss black. This is also the first time the “Ferrari” logo has been applied to the entire body.

The interior is made of sustainable fabrics made from recycled tires, and features a special “prancing horse” motif. The dashboard and steering wheel feature carbon fiber components derived from F1, highlighting Ferrari’s motorsport heritage.

A special serial number: “599+1”

The Daytona SP3 was originally planned to be limited to 599 units, but one additional unit was produced for the auction and given a special serial number: 599+1.

This special “Daytona SP3 Taylor Made” is an additional production run of the already sold-out Daytona SP3 and will be given a special serial number, “599+1.” The vehicle also comes with a special plate to certify its rare status.

All proceeds from the sale, hosted by RM Sotheby’s, will be used to fund Ferrari’s global educational programs. All proceeds will be donated to the Ferrari Foundation, a non-profit organization certified by the IRS (Internal Revenue Service), and will be used for a variety of educational projects.

One of the most recent initiatives undertaken by the Ferrari Foundation was a significant donation made in collaboration with the international NGO Save the Children to help rebuild Abeson Charter School in Altadena, California, after it was damaged in the Aton Fire in early 2025.

The Daytona SP3 is the third in the Econa series, following the Monza SP1 and SP2. It is an homage to the "P Series" that was active in races in the 1960s and 1970s.

Ferrari’s latest ICONA series, the Daytona SP3, is a modern interpretation of the elegant racing car of the time, a special edition that can be driven.

The Daytona SP3 is the third in the Econa series, following the Monza SP1 and SP2. This model is said to be an homage to the “P Series” that was active in races in the 1960s and 1970s. Equipped with an ultra-high-revving V12 engine that produces 840 horsepower at 9250 rpm, the SP3 is poised to perform at Belgium’s Zolder Circuit and on public roads.
