Garagisti GP1
6.6-liter naturally aspirated V12 with a maximum output of 700 PS

The Italtecnica 6.6-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine mounted in the rear mid-mounted produces a maximum output of over 700 PS.
Garagisti, an independent British sports car manufacturer, has unveiled the GP1, a completely “analog” hypercar equipped with a naturally aspirated V12 engine and developed based on a carbon monocoque. Developed from scratch with no compromises, the GP1 is road-legal and will be produced in a limited run of just 25 units.
“In an age of hybrid systems, algorithms and automation, the GP1 stands out,” explains Garagisti. The GP1 is a car for purists who love the internal combustion engine, and it pursues unfiltered, primitive driving pleasure.
The GP1’s upper body is a modern interpretation of the design elements of the golden age of wedge shapes. Ángel Guerra, formerly of Bugatti and Rimac, created the design completely from scratch. During the design phase, GP1 customers and ambassadors pointed out that the car evoked the image of Marcello Gandini’s masterpieces, such as the Lancia Stratos Zero and Lamborghini Countach.
The car is fitted with a rear-mid mounted, all-new, specially designed 6.6-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine developed by Italian powertrain specialist Italtecnica Srl, which drives the rear wheels via a longitudinally mounted 6-speed manual transmission made by X-Track. It produces a maximum output of 811 PS and a maximum torque of 700 Nm, and a mechanical sound reminiscent of motorsport engines of the past reverberates throughout the cockpit.
Eliminate all unnecessary components

The cockpit is free of large displays and gimmicks, and is designed to provide primitive driving pleasure.
The concept given to Ángel Guerra was “No large displays, no unnecessary gimmicks. Just the driver, the machine, and the road ahead.” The GP1’s twin cockpit layout eliminates all unnecessary factors while driving. The control systems are optimally positioned, and the ventilation system is seamlessly integrated into the cockpit design. Unnecessary components such as ducts have been omitted.
Paying homage to the supersport icons of the 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s, the GP1 was designed not only for the circuit but also as a comfortable Gran Turismo, ensuring not only overwhelming speed thanks to its 1000kg dry weight, but also comfort, appropriate cabin noise and ample luggage space.
Only 25 examples will be built in the UK, priced at £2.45 million. The first 12 owners will also have the opportunity to interact directly with GP1 engineers and designers through Garagisti & Co.’s “Open Doors” programme, which will take place across the UK and Europe and is set to become a landmark opportunity to experience the hypercar’s creation process.
Commenting on the GP1 announcement, Garagisti co-founder Mario Escudero said:
“The Garagisti vision was born from a simple question: What if the golden age of analogue super sports cars never ended? What if icons like the Countach still had their lineage today? What if the great models of the ’80s, ’90s and early 2000s had evolved, integrating new technology while retaining their analogue soul? We brought together the world’s greatest minds and poured our passion into these questions. And the GP1 is our answer.”
