Porsche 911 Turbo S
Equipped with an innovative twin-turbo T-Hybrid

The 911 Turbo S and 911 Turbo S Cabriolet will be equipped with a powertrain that is an even more advanced version of the T-Hybrid that was first installed in the 911 Carrera GTS.
The previous model of the 911 Turbo S was highly popular as a sports car that combined excellent performance, comfortable long-distance driving, luxury, and ease of everyday use. The new 911 Turbo S, unveiled for the first time at the IAA Mobility 2025, significantly improves performance in every aspect. The new 911 Turbo S is available as a closed coupe and a convertible.
The newly developed high-performance powertrain combines a 3.6-liter horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine with an electric turbocharger, delivering a maximum system output of 523 kW (711 PS) and a maximum system torque of 800 Nm. It has earned the title of the most powerful commercially available 911 in the history of the 911. Thanks to the lightweight “T-Hybrid” technology developed based on the 400V system, output has increased by 61 PS compared to the previous model.
The T-Hybrid, first introduced in the current 911 Carrera GTS, has been significantly updated for its introduction in the 911 Turbo S. While the 911 Carrera GTS is equipped with one electric exhaust gas turbocharger (e-Turbo), the number increases to two in the 911 Turbo S. The turbines and compressors are specially designed to meet the requirements of the top-of-the-line model.
The two e-turbos not only improve performance, but also contribute to improved powertrain responsiveness. The lightweight, 1.9kWh high-voltage battery is the same as the 911 Carrera GTS. The 911 Turbo S drives all four wheels via an 8-speed PDK with a built-in motor and Porsche Traction Management (PTM), achieving a top speed of 322km/h and 0-100km/h acceleration in 2.5 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the previous model.
Frank Moser, Head of Development for the 911/718 model line, commented on the new 911 Turbo S:
“The 911 Turbo S is the most complete and versatile model in the Porsche 911 range. It is significantly faster in everyday driving, on long highway journeys and on the track, and is also significantly more comfortable than its predecessor.”
Nordschleife time reduced by 14 seconds

Despite being equipped with a hybrid system, the new 911 Turbo S has only increased its weight by 85 kg. In a time attack at the Nürburgring, it beat the previous model’s time by 14 seconds.
Despite the addition of the high-performance T-Hybrid components, the new 911 Turbo S weighs just 85 kg more than its predecessor – an increase that is more than compensated for in all areas relevant to driving dynamics.
As a result, during the final development test at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in autumn 2024, a camouflaged 911 Turbo S recorded a time of 7 minutes 3.92 seconds in the presence of a notary, beating the time of its predecessor by approximately 14 seconds.
“You don’t even notice the weight gain. On the contrary, the new 911 Turbo S is much more agile, has better grip and is significantly faster on all sections of the circuit than its predecessor,” explains Porsche brand ambassador Jörg Bergmeister, who was involved in the development and testing of the new 911 Turbo S and set the official lap time for it.
Introducing a new aerodynamic shape

This time, Porsche has introduced a new aerodynamic shape to improve airflow around the body and cooling efficiency.
New aerodynamic components include vertically positioned cooling air flaps and an active front diffuser at the front, which, combined with the variable front spoiler lip and adjustable rear wing carried over from the previous model, function as an efficient aerodynamic system.
Optimised aerodynamic components direct optimal cooling air to the brakes and radiators, while active aerodynamics intelligently reduce drag according to the driving situation.
With all active aerodynamics in their most efficient position, the drag coefficient (Cd) of the 911 Turbo S is 10 percent lower than the previous model. Braking behavior has also been improved, particularly in “wet” mode, where the front diffuser can be closed to protect the front brake discs from excessive spray.
The standard sports exhaust system with titanium rear silencers and tailpipe trims significantly enhances the sound. It has been specifically tailored for the 911 Turbo S and also reduces the weight of the exhaust system itself. The internal combustion engine itself has also been updated: the 3.6-liter flat-six now uses asymmetric timing, adding additional frequencies to the engine sound, resulting in a more powerful and sharper sound.
Introducing the exclusive “Turbo Night Color”

The body and tread were wider than the 911 Carrera model, and a special “Turbo Night” color was introduced to highlight the Turbo model.
The new 911 Turbo S introduces Porsche’s cross-series Turbo design strategy. The Turbo model features a wider body and track than the Carrera model. New openings have been added to the rear section, and the redesigned rear fascia, with ventilation openings, emphasizes the sense of width.
Numerous contrasting elements, including the Porsche Crest and the “Turbo S” lettering at the rear, are designed in the exclusive “Turbo Night” color. The rear wing slats and side window strips feature inserts exclusive to the 911 Turbo S, highlighting the car’s top-of-the-line status. The 911 Turbo S-specific wheels also feature a new center-lock design in Turbo Night color.
Owners can also choose specifications that suit their wishes through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, which offers a wide range of customization options.
The exterior can be selected from over 100 color variations, and the lineup includes “Turbo Exclusive Design Wheels” with neodymium-painted carbon blades, a lightweight woven carbon roof, exclusive design rear lights, and carbon rear side section air intakes. A new “carbon lightweight wiper arm” has also been introduced, which is 50% lighter than the standard component.
Turbo Night color interior

The interior also features the same “Turbo Night color” as the exterior. The 911 Turbo S comes standard with a two-seater, but it is possible to add a rear seat at no extra cost.
The interior also features the Turbo Night color, which is a striking choice for the door panels, steering wheel, dashboard, center console surround, decorative stitching, sport chrono stopwatch, meter panel, seatbelts, and center console switches.
Carbon-structured trim strips with neodymium trim and a perforated microfiber headliner with black lining are now featured as interior accoutrements exclusive to the 911 Turbo S. The 911 Turbo S Coupé comes standard with a two-seater configuration, but a rear seat system can also be ordered at no extra cost. The 911 Turbo S Cabriolet comes standard with a 2+2 seating configuration.
The 911 Turbo S-exclusive embossing on the seat surfaces and door panels pays homage to the design of the first-generation 911 Turbo (Type 930). Standard equipment includes the Sport Chrono Package, which includes a tire temperature gauge, the specially tuned PASM suspension, PDCC electrohydraulic roll support, a titanium sports exhaust system, 18-way adaptive sports seats plus with memory function, and “turbo S” lettering on the headrests.
Vehicle price (tax included)
