Zenos Cars, a lightweight sports car manufacturer based in Norfolk, UK, was founded in 2014, but went bankrupt in 2017 due to poor management. It then became a subsidiary of AC Cars, and after about eight years, it has made a comeback with the E10 RZ.

Now, Zenos Cars has unveiled the E10 RZ, a car that symbolizes the company’s revival. The E10 RZ refines the advanced design of the original E10, retaining its characteristics as both a road car and a track car while incorporating a new powertrain and the latest production technology. The unveiled E10 RZ engineering prototype is capable of being driven on public roads, yet also delivers high performance on the circuit.

The production E10 RZ will be unveiled in early 2026, with production and deliveries to begin shortly thereafter. Approximately three months later, the budget-friendly E10 R2, equipped with a 2.3-liter inline four-cylinder engine, is scheduled to debut. Fewer than 50 units are expected to be sold in 2026, with prices of approximately £140,000 for the E10 RZ and £120,000 for the E10 R2.

Major updates to each component

The power unit and chassis have been strengthened based on the E10, resulting in a driving feel that can be enjoyed not only on the circuit but also in urban areas.

The power unit and chassis have been strengthened based on the E10, resulting in a driving feel that can be enjoyed not only on the circuit but also in urban areas.

The E10 RZ is equipped with a completely redesigned 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder turbo engine mounted in the rear mid-mounted position. The engine has updated control and intake systems, and a new intercooler has been installed, producing a maximum output of 385 PS and a maximum torque of 510 Nm. The power is delivered to the rear via a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The chassis, which combines a spine (skeleton) made of a single piece of extruded aluminum with a full carbon fiber tub, achieves excellent torsional rigidity. The front and rear treads have been widened compared to the E10, improving stability and handling. All major heavy components, including the engine and gearbox, have been positioned inside the front and rear axles to lower the center of gravity.

The E10 RZ comes standard with an LSD. The front suspension uses a pushrod type suspension and inboard dampers. This reduces air resistance while reducing unsprung weight, improving ride comfort and steering response. The rear suspension uses conventional coilover dampers mounted directly to a tubular steel subframe that supports the engine and gearbox.

The full carbon fiber bodywork reduces vehicle weight and enhances visual impact. The body panels, molded by a specialist British company, are available in standard paint finishes, gloss carbon fiber, or custom liveries to suit customer preferences.

The AC Ace Classic Electric, developed in collaboration with AC Cars and Tremec Electric GT, was unveiled for the first time at the SEMA Show.
