The upcoming Cayenne Electric will introduce many new features, including a newly developed Flow Display.

The Cayenne Electric, which is scheduled to have its world premiere soon, combines Porsche’s sports car DNA with digital innovation. It will be introduced as a model that will usher in a new era in the Porsche lineup, and the interior in particular will be dramatically transformed into an “experiential space.”

At the heart of this is the newly developed Flow Display, the largest display ever in a Porsche. It curves elegantly across the entire instrument panel, seamlessly integrating it into the interior space and allowing the driver and passengers to operate it intuitively.

New comfort features such as electrically adjustable rear seats, heated surfaces and mood modes further enhance the driving experience, while a wide range of colours, materials and accents allows for almost limitless personalisation.

Markus Auerbach, head of interior design at Porsche Style, had this to say about the interior of the Cayenne Electric:

“Our development goal was to maintain the essential character of the Cayenne while harmoniously integrating the newly developed flow display and the functions of Porsche Digital Interaction. The result is an innovative, forward-thinking package that has been meticulously thought out down to the smallest detail.”

The ultimate digital space: “Flow Display”

Porsche has unveiled the interior of the Cayenne Electric, which will be released at the end of 2025.

The Cayenne Electric will be equipped with a “Flow Display” consisting of a 14.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch passenger display.

The Porsche Digital Interaction concept introduced in the Cayenne Electric will revolutionize the digitalization of the range. At its heart is the beautifully curved OLED display known as the Flow Display. Its design seamlessly extends to the centre console, creating the largest continuous digital surface in the history of a Porsche.

The 14.25-inch digital instrument cluster offers a clear view of power gauges, navigation, driver assists and infotainment, while the optional 14.9-inch passenger display offers unobstructed entertainment, app operation and video streaming while on the move.

The cockpit is the first Porsche to feature an AR-compatible head-up display, which projects navigation and lane guidance directly into the driver’s field of vision with an 8.7-inch screen.

Ivo van Hulten, head of the Porsche Style Driver Experience, explained the reason for the introduction: “The aim of revamping the screen’s digital content was to create a deeper, more immersive connection between the driver and the car.”

Ultimate personalization

Porsche has unveiled the interior of the Cayenne Electric, which will be released at the end of 2025.

The Cayenne Electric offers unprecedented personalization through a combination of colors, materials and accents.

The Cayenne Electric offers unprecedented freedom of personalization: Owners can combine 13 interior colors, four interior packages and five accent packages to create an interior that suits their individual preferences.

New colors include “Magnesium Gray,” “Lavender,” and “Sage Gray.” For customers who prefer a leather-free interior, the “Race-Tex” interior, featuring a pepita-patterned textile, is also available, paying homage to classic Porsche designs. Furthermore, customizations are available through the “Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur” and one-off production through the “Sonderbarsch” program.

The standard electrically adjustable rear seats can be flexibly switched from a relaxed seating position to cargo mode. A new “Mood Mode” system combines lighting, air conditioning, sound and seat functions to create an interior space that suits your mood.

The variable dimming “panoramic roof” is the largest glass sunroof in Porsche history. The front section can be opened and closed like a conventional sliding roof. The entire roof can be electrically controlled by an LCD film to switch between “clear” and “matte” modes, and also has two translucent modes: “semi” at 40% and “bold” at 60%.

The newly adopted surface heating system not only warms the seats but also the armrests and parts of the door panels, creating a more efficient and comfortable space than conventional hot air systems. In addition, the range of ambient and communication lights has been expanded, further enhancing comfort.
