Mercedes-AMG GT 63 SE Performance
The maximum output is an astonishing 816PS
I test drove the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 SE Performance at Fuji Speedway. It’s the top-of-the-line model of the second-generation AMG GT Coupe. Its powertrain is a so-called plug-in hybrid architecture, combining a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a maximum output of 612 PS and a maximum torque of 850 Nm with a 204 PS/320 Nm electric motor—a P3 hybrid system.
The overall system boasts an astonishing maximum output of 816 PS and maximum torque of 1,420 Nm (!), and we were able to enjoy its performance at a test drive event held at Fuji Speedway.
