[1] The carbon fiber rear wing has a different shape than the standard model, and the wingtip plates are also larger. [2] The carbon fiber aero discs are fastened together with center-lock nuts. [3] The vehicle height and damping force can be adjusted, but Manthey’s recommended settings are generally suitable for any course.
The Manthey Racing Team continues to perform remarkably well in the Porsche competition scene. Founded in 1996, Manthey has continued to compete in WEC and DTM, and is now 51% owned by Porsche, making it a factory-like team.
Now Manthey has released an aftermarket part for commercial Porsches. Called the “Porsche Manthey Performance Kit,” it was developed as an upgrade kit to optimize the performance of Porsches and improve their circuit performance.
The set includes aero parts such as a front lip spoiler and canard-style flaps, a rear wing and diffuser, an air guide attached to the underbody, and rear wheel aero discs. Additionally, front and rear height-adjustable suspension, brake pads, brake lines, and lightweight wheels are also included. Other items include front and rear tow loops, LED-illuminated side sill plates, and stickers.
Nürburgring time reduced by 9 seconds

[1] A diffuser that increases downforce. Blades have also been added to the front. [2] Artistically hollowed-out wheels. The wheels alone have achieved a weight reduction of 7.3 kg. [3] All parts for the 911 GT3. All parts except the aero parts can be installed individually.
There are no mufflers or parts that increase power, but the know-how Manthey has cultivated through racing is condensed into the car. In a test conducted under the same conditions, with the same driver and tires, the time at the Nürburgring was reduced by 9 seconds. Each part can be purchased individually, but the aero parts are sold as a set because they disrupt the overall balance. Of course, all parts are OK for driving on public roads, and if you sell the car, you can return it to its original condition.
Purchase and installation are handled by authorized dealers who have received specialized training. There are currently 17 dealers nationwide, but this number is expected to increase in the future. All compatible vehicles are GT series, including the 911 GT3 (992.1), 911 GT3 Touring (992.1), 718 Cayman GT4 (982), and 718 Cayman GT4 RS (982). A new version for the 911 GT3 RS (992.1) is scheduled to be added within 2024.
Experience at the Experience Center

The “Man Tai Performance Program” will begin on October 8th.
The installation takes 1-2 days, and the alignment is carefully adjusted using a Mantai alignment tester. The price for the complete set is about 8 million yen (excluding labor), but considering what’s included, it seems like a good deal.
The Porsche Experience Center in Kisarazu, Chiba, will be launching the “Mantei Performance Program,” a driving program for the 911 GT3 equipped with the Manthey Performance Kit, from October 8th. If you’d like to take a look and experience it for yourself, be sure to stop by.
